Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety-conscious Electrician with experience in both commercial and residential electrical work. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of electrical installations, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and applicable safety standards.
Candidates must be able to perform conduit rough-in, bend and install conduit, pull and terminate wiring, trim electrical panels, and read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and electrical systems.
- Perform conduit rough-in and accurately bend and install conduit.
- Pull, route, splice, and terminate electrical wiring.
- Install and trim electrical panels, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using voltmeters and other testing equipment.
- Perform work on both high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to support the timely completion of projects.
- Follow all NEC requirements, local regulations, company policies, and jobsite safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrician in commercial and residential environments.
- Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and electrical panel work.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical safety practices.
- Proficiency in using electrical hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
- Electrician license or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
