You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of residential systems, all while delivering the transparent service our customers trust.

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties)

  • Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot residential HVAC performance through precise testing, observation, and system setup.
  • Maintenance: Disassemble, service, and reassemble equipment for routine preventative maintenance.
  • Customer Communication: Clearly explain diagnoses to homeowners, obtain approval before starting work, and professionally quote pricing out of a flat-rate book.
  • Documentation: Use a mobile device to document work performed legibly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Sales & Service: Recommend relevant HVAC accessories, upgrades, and maintenance service agreements by clearly communicating their benefits.
  • Safety & Independence: Safely operate a company vehicle, manage your time independently on job sites, and handle standard hand/power tools and gauges.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Work flexible or irregular hours as needed, including participating in a rotating on-call schedule for nights and weekends to support our 24/7 service window.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

  • Certifications: Active TDLR and EPA certifications (State of Texas) are required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on field experience. (A diploma from a recognized trade/technical school combined with field experience is preferred but not required).
  • Technical Skill: Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
  • Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and driving record check.
  • Mindset: Ability to work independently under pressure and handle customer interactions with professionalism and integrity.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Environments: Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (intense heat/cold), high noise areas, and poorly ventilated environments.
  • Mobility: Comfort climbing attic stairs and ladders (ranging from 4’ to 32’), as well as maneuvering through tight spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
  • Physical Tasks: Regular bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and crawling.
  • Lifting Capacity: Ability to exert up to 100 lbs of force regularly and 50 lbs frequently.
  • Safety Compliance: Must not exceed 300 lbs in total weight (including clothes and tools) to strictly meet OSHA Fall Protection guidelines.

Benefits & What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: Generous pay structure matching your experience level, plus opportunity for performance bonuses.

  • Paid Vacation & Time Off: Earned paid time off to relax and recharge.
  • Tool Account / Allowance: Dedicated company tool account program to help you acquire, upgrade, and maintain your gear.
  • Company Vehicle: Provided for daily calls and service dispatches.
