Plumber – Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems at various client locations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, tools, and safety procedures and be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, maintain, and test pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, drainage, and sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs based on work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures and equipment, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and kitchen equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and labor.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Travel between client worksites and respond to service calls when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of plumbing trade experience.
• California Journeyman Plumber license preferred.
• Backflow Certification preferred and may be required within 12 months.
• Valid California driver's license and insurability.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand plumbing codes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, and work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and around dust, fumes, chemicals, gas lines, and other job-site hazards.
• Frequent local travel between worksites is required.
