Associate Attorney

Graham & Borgese is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Debt-Defense Associate Attorney to join our growing team. In this role, you will work to resolve debt defense matters for consumers being sued by creditors. This includes managing a large caseload with time-sensitive deadlines while striving to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities
Handle and resolve debt defense cases for consumers facing lawsuits from creditors.
Manage a large caseload efficiently, ensuring all time-sensitive deadlines are met.
Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible for admission.
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
Excellent legal writing and communication abilities.
Proven negotiating skills to resolve disputes effectively.
*Admission to NJ or Texas as well a plus
