Assembly Operator

Schedule:

1st 6:45am-3:15pm / 2nd 4:15pm-12:45am

Job Summary:

Responsible for assembling and preparing products and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Performs mechanical and electrical assembly tasks according to work instructions, production standards, and safety procedures. Inspects completed assemblies for quality and accuracy, uses hand and power tools as required, and maintains a clean and organized work area. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to work as part of a team, and comfortable meeting production goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and products according to specifications and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment safely.
• Perform visual and quality inspections to identify defects or assembly issues.
• Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Accurately document production and quality information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and attendance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet productivity goals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain good attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as business needs require.
