Employment and Labor Law Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our Employment/Labor Law Litigation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of employment and labor laws. This role requires excellent legal research skills, the ability to draft legal documents, and a commitment to advocating for clients' rights. The Attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including litigation and negotiations.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed advice.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
• Advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable laws.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in employment law cases and other matters.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in litigating cases and handling legal administrative tasks.
• Strong skills in legal drafting and writing clear, persuasive documents.
• Knowledge of and experience in employment and labor law
• Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
