Overview:
- Maintenance Technician
- DeKalb
- 1st shift 6am-4:30pm
- 2nd shift M-F 4:30pm-2:30am
- $24-$50/hr (+1.50 Shift differential)
Responsibilities or job duties:
This position is responsible for carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery, to improve up-time and improve efficiencies, special projects to enhance safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives that support company goals.
- Mechanical repair of equipment
- Lube machines
- Participates in continuous improvement and special projects
- Assists in documenting repair and Pm procedures
- Basic math skills and problem-solving mentality
- Required to drive forklift
Qualifications:
- HS diploma/GED
- Valid DL
- E-Verify
- Lift requirements: 50lbs
- 3-5 yrs + Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience with Welding
- Experience with electrical and plumbing work
- 3-5 yrs + Industrial electrical experience
- 3+ yrs power tools experience
