Lead Commercial Carpenter

Raleigh Labor Source is seeking qualified Lead Commercial Construction Carpenter/foreman! We are a staffing agency primarily specializing in long term placements for commercial construction.

Job Description:

As a lead commercial construction carpenter, you are an essential part of the construction industry. Your role involves various tasks related to the construction, renovation, and maintenance of commercial buildings.

Lead Commercial Carpenter Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Framing: May be responsible for constructing the framework of commercial buildings. This includes building walls, floors, and partitions using wooden structural components such as guardrails, handrails, blocking, shoring, temporary walls, beams, studs, trusses, and joists.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Commercial carpenters may be responsible for inspecting and repairing existing wooden structures, fixtures, or components in commercial buildings. This includes assessing damage, replacing, or repairing damaged materials, and ensuring structural stability.
• Safety and Compliance: Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment. You adhere to regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance throughout your carpentry work.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently, meet project deadlines, and coordinate your tasks with other workers to ensure smooth progress.
• Familiarity with filling out JSAs
• Experience with wall layouts

Qualifications:

• Carry relevant carpentry knowledge and experience
• OSHA 30
• Own their own hand tools
• Have reliable, consistent transportation
• Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts
• Ability to lift approximately 35-40 lbs.
• Work within Federal, State and Local Regulations
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols on construction sites
• Be able to legally work within the United States
• A successful drug screening will be required
