Litigation Attorney

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Litigation Attorney with Corporate Experience to be a core part of our growing team. This role is weighted primarily toward litigation, but our clients' needs are broad, so the ideal candidate is comfortable stepping into corporate and transactional matters when needed. You'll work directly with firm leadership on active litigation matters while also supporting the firm's business-counsel work.

This role is well suited to a mid-level associate — someone who has built a solid foundation in litigation and has meaningful corporate/transactional exposure, and who is ready to take on greater ownership. We value range across both disciplines rather than siloed experience, and we're looking for an attorney who wants more responsibility and a direct path to growing alongside the firm — not just being one of many associates in a large practice.

What You'll Do

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, with appropriate oversight and support
• Conduct legal research and writing at a high level
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed
• Support corporate/transactional matters (contracts, entity formation, general business counsel) as capacity allows
• Collaborate closely with the firm's attorneys and paralegal on case strategy
• Help manage client relationships and communicate case status clearly and proactively
• Contribute to the firm's systems and processes as it continues to scale (timekeeping, case management via Clio, workflow improvements)
• Take on a flexible range of responsibilities consistent with a growing, entrepreneurial firm

What We're Looking For

• 5-7 years of legal experience, with solid litigation practice; candidates with some corporate/transactional exposure are especially well-suited to this role
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle litigation matters with reasonable partner oversight
• Strong legal writing and research skills are non-negotiable
• Corporate/transactional experience (contracts, entity formation, business advisory work) — real reps, not just exposure
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with regular in-person collaboration at the Atlanta office, particularly during onboarding/ramp-up
• Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in a smaller firm setting where responsibilities span beyond a single practice area
• Georgia bar admission (or ability to obtain reciprocity/admission promptly)
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy but communicates proactively with the team
