Florida Cooling Group is growing, and we’re looking for a high-level HVAC Service Technician who wants more than just another service tech job.
This position is for someone who can diagnose, communicate with homeowners, make the right recommendations, and take ownership of a service call from start to finish.

South Florida doesn't have an "off season" here. We work year-round.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and complete system evaluations
- Find the actual cause of the problem — not just change parts until something works
- Clearly explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners
- Identify legitimate opportunities for repairs, IAQ, maintenance plans, and system replacement
- Properly document calls with notes, readings, and photos
- Help set the standard for quality workmanship within our service department
- Take ownership of your calls, your customers, and your results
Who We’re Looking For
We’re not looking for an entry-level technician.
We want someone who already knows how to run service calls and wants an opportunity to earn at a higher level.
You should have:
- 3–5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Strong understanding of airflow, refrigeration, electrical, and controls
- Confidence communicating with homeowners
- Ability to present repair options without high-pressure sales tactics
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions in the field
- EPA Certification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pride in your workmanship and reputation
