WANTED: Experienced Low Voltage Technician / Custom Installer

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician / Custom Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident working on residential and/or commercial systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
• Work with structured cabling, security, AV, networking, speakers, displays, cameras, and related equipment.
• Read and follow job plans, schematics, and system layouts.
• Maintain a clean, professional job site and complete work to a high standard.
• Communicate clearly with clients, builders, and team members.
• Diagnose issues and complete service calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in low voltage installation and custom integration.
• Strong knowledge of wiring, terminations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AV, networking, security, or automation systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.

Preferred Experience

• Fiber termination and testing.
• Speaker and audio wiring.
• Camera and access control installation.
• TV mounting and display setup.
• Rack building, labeling, and cable management.
• Familiarity with control systems, network switches, SFPs, and related AV equipment.
