NC PRE ASSEMBLER TRAINEE

Assembles drawer boxes according to ticket using a variety of hand tools.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret production tickets.
• Select and inspect materials for quality.
• Apply glue and manually assemble drawer boxes according to established standard work.
• Safely operate multiple machines as required.
• Maintain a high level of attention to details.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training
• Ability to print and speak simple words in English.
• Ability to work well within a diverse team environment
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure

Physical Requirements:

Repetitive handling, grasping, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods.
