Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities :

• Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
• Educate patient on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Assist with patient transfers, positioning , and ambulation
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirement:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Occupational health experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy , physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience in trigger point therapy is a plus
• Ability to work in a hospital or an acute care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
