Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Ottawa, Illinois. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience, follows safety procedures, works well with others, and is dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Organize inventory and maintain accurate product placement.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping operations.
  • Inspect the forklift and report maintenance or safety issues.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform general warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
  • Work effectively with supervisors and other team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Safety-conscious attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay & Schedule

  • $16.00–$17.00 per hour.
  • Full-time position.
  • Overtime may be available.
  • Shift availability may vary.

Requisitos

  • Certificación vigente de montacargas es preferida.
  • Capacidad para levantar y mover materiales de manera segura.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de almacén o industrial.
  • Buena asistencia y puntualidad.
  • Capacidad para seguir instrucciones verbales y escritas.
  • Actitud responsable y enfocada en la seguridad.
