HVAC Production Assistant

About the Position:
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in project coordination, production scheduling, and customer service, with a solid understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation processes. As the HVAC Production Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of HVAC installation projects from post-sale through completion.

- Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

The ideal candidate has basic working knowledge of HVAC components, such as A/C condensers, furnaces, air handlers, thermostats, ducting, and related installation timelines, and can effectively communicate with installers, project managers, and homeowners.

Job Responsibilities:
- Must have current or prior experience in Construction Project Management / Production Coordination (HVAC industry experience strongly preferred)
- Coordinate full-cycle HVAC installation and replacement projects after the sale
- Schedule and prioritize multiple HVAC jobs to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Serve as the primary liaison between HVAC installers/technicians and homeowners
- Maintain all required job documentation, work orders, permits, and completion paperwork
- Monitor project milestones, installation schedules, inspections, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with field teams regarding equipment, materials, scheduling, and installation progress
- Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to ensure jobs stay on schedule and within budget
- Ensure excellent customer service and homeowner satisfaction throughout the process
- Support coordination of A/C condenser replacements, system upgrades, and other residential HVAC projects

Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in HVAC coordination, construction, project coordination, or related field
- Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems and components required (Examples: A/C condensers, furnaces, air handlers, thermostats, ductwork)
- Experience working with HVAC installers, field technicians, or subcontractors preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple active projects
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
