The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and functional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions affecting daily function
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans to improve independence in activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Educate patients on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Support injury prevention, ergonomic training, and wellness initiatives
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
- Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, neurological, or hand therapy preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, patient care, and education skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $90K – $120K + bonus incentive
