Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) is a private, nonprofit corporation established by Anne Arundel County to create and retain affordable housing opportunities, as well as to ensure the efficient delivery of community development services to those most in need. ACDS is a HUD-approved organization that oversees and manages the expenditure of the Homeownership Counseling Program, Mortgage Assistance Program, Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) Program, Foreclosure Prevention Counseling Program, Property Rehabilitation Program and Accessibility Modifications Programs for Anne Arundel County.


Summary

ACDS is seeking a detailed oriented and customer-focused Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) Intake Coordinator who is well versed to support the administration of affordable housing programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact for applicants, ensuring compliance with Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) and related housing program requirements. The Intake Coordinator will guide applicants through the process, verify eligibility, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support equitable access to housing opportunities.


Job Description

General responsibilities include processing and evaluating applications, conducting preliminary interviews to determine program eligibility, and ensuring compliance with all program guidelines. The MPDU Intake Coordinator will analyze applicants’ financial information, support compliance reporting, participate in audits, maintain strict confidentiality, and assist with program evaluations.


Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Housing Management, Social Services ora closely related field with relevant work experience or any equivalent combination of; training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. A successful candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in affordable housing, program administration, intake coordination, case management, or customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience working with databases and spreadsheets, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.


Candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, a high attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with program requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and overall computer literacy are required. The ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed, is also required.


Compensation

Salary ranges from mid 60’s to mid-70’s commensurate with experience.
