Job Description
Join Us to Keep a High-Speed Line Running Right

Do you thrive on dialing in automated equipment, hunting down waste, and turning data into better results? As a key partner to the Operations Team Lead, you’ll run multiple machines and robotic systems to deliver safe, high-quality output—on time and on cost.

Your Impact
  1. Safety first: own your area—practice 5S, keep it clean, complete vehicle checks, and raise every incident or near-miss through the Safety Program.
  2. Quality gatekeeper: enforce Positive Release, use precision measuring tools, react quickly to defects, adjust machines, and capture rework/waste data in the quality database.
  3. Flow and uptime: tune equipment during continuous production to prevent stoppages and reduce scrap while maintaining OEE.
  4. Documentation discipline: chart and record production activities accurately.
  5. Continuous improvement: collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove waste and lower operating costs; contribute ideas and help vet changes on the floor.
  6. Standards-driven: follow the BRC Food Safety Policy, GMPs, HACCP Principle, ISO14001, and OSHA rules—and help write better SOPs and work instructions.
  7. Hands-on reliability: complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks; support trial runs (SMA’s), installs, overhauls, and upgrades.
  8. Pitch in: operate forklifts as needed and cover breaks to keep production steady. Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting.
  • Preferred: 2+ years in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Clear communication, strong teamwork and organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfort with computers and math to read drawings, review specs/instructions, and report line performance.
  • Working knowledge of measurement/inspection devices.
  • Availability for 8- or 12-hour shifts, day or off-shifts, with weekends, holidays, and OT as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to change and evolving priorities.
Physical & Schedule Details
  • Usual shift: 12 hours; average hours per week alternate 36/48.
  • Regular standing and walking; frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; occasional non-permit-required confined space work (with required training).
  • Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs; near/far vision and color recognition; strong hand/eye coordination.
Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Where You’ll Work
  • Very loud manufacturing environment—hearing protection and assigned PPE are mandatory.
  • Temperatures vary from very cold to around 95 degrees; potential exposure to fumes, dust, and odors.
  • Hazards include mechanical/electrical sources, pinch points, cuts, burns, and metal dust/slivers.
  • Regular work near hazardous and explosive chemicals.
