Picture this: It’s 6:00 AM in Houston, MN. You clock in with a tight-knit team at a growing metal manufacturer, placed by Express Employment Professionals. By mid-morning you’re dialing in a punch press, measuring and cutting parts to spec, and lending a hand on the paint and industrial coating line. The afternoon wraps with palletizing finished goods and a final quality check before you head out at 4:20 PM—leaving long weekends to enjoy.

Role Overview
  • Title: Metal Fabrication Production Technician (Entry-Level)
  • Location: Houston, MN
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:20 PM
  • Overtime: Occasional Fridays
  • Pay: Starting at $18–$20 per hour
What You’ll Do
  • Operate punch press and other metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with the paint line and industrial coating processes.
  • Measure and cut metal materials accurately to meet specifications.
  • Stack, palletize, and prepare completed parts for shipment.
  • Inspect parts for accuracy and quality throughout production.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Support daily production and warehouse workflows as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required—training provided.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and do basic shop math.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
  • Willingness to learn machinery and manufacturing processes.
  • Comfort working on your feet—standing, bending, reaching—in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capable of lifting 40+ lbs regularly.
