Maintenance Director

Join our team at Willow Tree Post Acute, a leading provider of post-acute care in Topeka, KS, as we seek a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, and supporting the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, both planned and unplanned, to ensure the facility is safe, clean, and well-maintained

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and assets

  • Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively

  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste

  • Conduct regular rounds of the facility to identify potential issues and take corrective action as needed

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance projects align with organizational goals and objectives

  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards governing maintenance and operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum [insert number] years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role; experience in a post-acute care setting preferred

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance technicians
