Regional Respiratory Therapist

Avir Vista
Keller, TX, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description
Regional Respiratory Therapist – DFW Market

Avir Vista | Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas

Ready to Take Respiratory Care Beyond the Bedside?

Avir Vista is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, driven Regional Respiratory Therapist to help us elevate respiratory care across our skilled nursing facilities throughout the DFW market.

This isn’t a traditional RT position.

We’re looking for someone who understands excellent respiratory care and knows how to lead, educate, problem-solve, and help facilities successfully care for higher-acuity residents.

What You’ll Do
  • Support respiratory programs across multiple Avir Vista skilled nursing facilities in the DFW market

  • Provide hands-on education and clinical support to facility teams

  • Help facilities confidently manage residents with complex respiratory needs

  • Support ventilator, tracheostomy, oxygen and other respiratory programs

  • Partner with nursing, operations, admissions and clinical leadership

  • Review respiratory-related hospital transfers and identify opportunities to safely manage residents in place

  • Assist with evaluating complex referrals and removing clinical barriers to admission

  • Help develop consistent respiratory protocols, competencies and best practices across the market

  • Identify opportunities to expand respiratory capabilities and grow higher-acuity clinical programs

  • Serve as the go-to respiratory resource for our DFW facilities

Who We’re Looking For

You’re not someone who wants to sit behind a desk.

You’re an experienced Respiratory Therapist who can walk into a building, assess what’s happening, educate the team, solve problems and help create a plan.

You’re comfortable working with facility leadership, nurses, physicians, hospitals and referral partners — and you understand that great respiratory programs can improve outcomes, prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and open the door to serving more complex patients.

Qualifications
  • Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license

  • RRT preferred

  • Strong clinical respiratory experience

  • Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care strongly preferred

  • Skilled nursing, long-term care, LTACH or other post-acute experience is a plus

  • Strong educator and communicator

  • Comfortable traveling throughout the DFW market

  • Self-directed, organized and ready to build

Why Avir Vista?

Avir Vista is building something different.

We’re growing quickly, strengthening our clinical programs and giving our leaders the opportunity to make a real impact. This role will have the ability to help shape what respiratory care looks like across our DFW market — not simply maintain what already exists.

If you’re an RT who is ready to lead, teach, build and grow, we want to talk to you.
