HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking Physician Assistant for an established outpatient pediatric practice in Queens, New York. This position provides comprehensive primary care to patients from birth through age 21. It offers flexible scheduling, no weekends, no calls, strong physician support, and potential H-1B sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care to newborns, children, adolescents, and young adults
  • Perform well-child examinations, sports physicals, and developmental screenings
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Monitor growth, development, and age-appropriate health milestones
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
  • Develop evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans
  • Educate patients and families about vaccinations, preventive care, nutrition, and wellness
  • Coordinate care with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Communicate effectively with Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking patients and families

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese required
  • Pediatric or family medicine preferred
  • New graduates considered with strong pediatric clinical rotations
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-education skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, family-centered care

Schedule

  • Full-time: Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Part-time: Minimum of three days per week
  • No weekends, calls, or inpatient coverage

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time equivalent compensation: $160,000–$210,000 annually
  • Part-time compensation is prorated according to the agreed schedule
