Assembly/CNC Floater
Job Description
Associated Thermoforming Inc. is looking for a dependable and flexible CNC / Assembly Floater Operator to support our production team. This position works between our CNC and Assembly departments based on production schedules, staffing, workload, and overall business needs.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, enjoys learning different areas of production, and is willing to transition between departments as priorities change.
The working hours for this position are Monday-Thursday from 6:00am-4:30pm.
Requirements:As a Floater Operator, you will be trained to support both CNC and Assembly. Your daily or weekly assignment may change depending on where production support is needed most.

- Flexible and comfortable working in multiple production areas.
- Strong attention to detail and product quality.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
- Ability to safely operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
- Previous manufacturing, CNC, or assembly experience preferred.
- Experience with calipers, height gauges, or similar measurement tools is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
This is an active manufacturing position that requires frequent standing and walking, bending, reaching, gripping, and repetitive hand movements. Employees must be able to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds and safely move between production areas as needed.
