A leading healthcare staffing organization is actively seeking an experienced Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract assignment at a state-supported healthcare facility in San Angelo, Texas.

Position Summary:
The Registered Occupational Therapist will perform comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, develop and monitor individualized treatment and home-based plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient care.
The OT will also provide competency-based staff training, participate in client-centered meetings, and maintain accurate electronic clinical documentation in accordance with Texas licensure requirements and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete occupational therapy assessments and provide appropriate treatments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and home-based therapy plans.
- Participate in client-centered and interdisciplinary meetings and provide clinical recommendations as needed.
- Provide skills-based competency training and education to facility staff.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation and comply with all applicable Texas OT practice standards and facility policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Texas Occupational Therapist License in good standing and maintained throughout the assignment.
- Maintain all required continuing education and certifications for Texas licensure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to complete required electronic clinical documentation accurately and timely.
- Must meet all required immunization, drug screening, fingerprinting/background, and facility training requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- Sensory integration assessment and treatment planning.
- School-based occupational therapy and collaboration with teachers.
- Outpatient occupational therapy services.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Some scheduling flexibility may be required to complete assessments.
