Your impact

From first fit-up to final pass, you’ll ensure every part meets spec. You’ll interpret drawings, set your machine, and finish strong—every time.

• Lay out, position, align, and fit parts into welding fixtures following instructions and prints.
• Configure gas-shielded MIG welding parameters and produce in-spec welds.
• Read and apply blueprints and welding symbols to guide fabrication.
• Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to prep, assemble, and finish.
• Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment to ensure reliability.

What it takes

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience with proven blueprint reading capability.
• Comfort with tape measure reading, production welding setups, and blueprint interpretation.

Compensation and schedule

• Pay: $22–$24 per hour, based on experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; Friday overtime is common.
