About the Role

As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a key role in helping our clients maintain their safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Working closely with each client’s individualized care plan, you’ll provide essential support that empowers them to live as independently as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience in caregiving or healthcare who is ready to bring their compassion and professionalism to a team that values respect and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

As a PCA at Bridge 2 Success Group Home, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Supporting mobility needs, including walking, transfers, and the use of mobility equipment.
  • Helping with toileting, continence care, and medication reminders (as permitted by the care plan).
  • Preparing and assisting with meals, feeding, and light housekeeping duties.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in clients’ health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
  • Encouraging physical activity and independence while maintaining a clean and supportive environment.
  • Completing required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Following all company policies, safety requirements, and individualized care plans.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • To be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a PCA, CNA, caregiver, or in a similar healthcare role.
  • Compassion, patience, and professionalism in all aspects of care.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred/required if transportation is part of the role).
  • The physical ability to perform caregiving duties, including standing, walking, bending, and assisting with mobility and transfers.
