Role Summary

Grille Mechanical Contractors is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer capable of independently running residential and commercial installation projects. This person will lead helpers, coordinate with builders and company leadership, manage project execution, and maintain the workmanship standards required on high-end Jersey Shore properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installation projects from start through completion.
• Direct and develop installation helpers/crew members.
• Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Execute new-construction HVAC installations.
• Perform system replacements and change-outs.
• Complete commercial tenant fit-outs and alterations.
• Install and modify ductwork and associated HVAC components.
• Coordinate project requirements directly with builders and management.
• Anticipate materials, labor, and next-step requirements.
• Keep projects on schedule and communicate potential delays.
• Maintain exceptionally clean and professional jobsites.
• Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead jobs.
• Residential and commercial installation experience.
• New-construction HVAC experience.
• EPA certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong crew leadership and communication ability.
• High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• High-end/custom residential construction experience.
• Commercial tenant fit-out experience.
• Strong ductwork installation background.
• Boiler/hydronic experience.
• Refrigeration exposure.
• Experience coordinating directly with builders/general contractors.
