Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Parts Floater to join our production team. In this role, you will support various areas of our manufacturing shop by operating machinery, preparing materials, and moving parts through production. The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC experience and can easily transition between working independently and collaborating with a team to keep our operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will support various areas of our manufacturing shop by operating machinery, preparing materials, and moving parts through production. The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC experience and can easily transition between working independently and collaborating with a team to keep our operations running smoothly.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently, including plasma tables, press brakes, and bandsaws.
- Load and unload materials into fabrication machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine part specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and precision tools to ensure quality accuracy.
- Lift, carry, and move heavy materials and components throughout the shop floor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production goals or machine issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Direct experience operating CNC plasma tables, press brakes, and bandsaws.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and manufacturing prints.
- High proficiency in using standard measuring tools, specifically calipers and tape measures.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a shop team.
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods on a concrete shop floor.
