Position Summary

The Production Assembler builds components, subassemblies, and finished VCM products following work instructions and quality standards. This role performs repetitive precision assembly tasks, maintains accurate production documentation, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and subassemblies per work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Perform manual assembly tasks including fitting, fastening, bonding, and basic testing as instructed.
  • Complete production and Device History Records accurately (good documentation practices).
  • Inspect own work for quality and identify/report defects or nonconformances.
  • Meet production schedules, quantity, and quality targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, including cleanroom/ESD requirements where applicable.
  • Support continuous improvement and process changes; participate in training.

Qualifications — Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred; medical device or cleanroom experience a plus.
  • Willingness to train on client's processes and quality system

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and consistency.
  • Basic documentation and math skills; ability to use hand tools.
  • Familiarity with GDP, ESD, and cleanroom practices a plus.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and quality-minded.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/cleanroom environment; prolonged sitting or standing at a workstation.
  • Repetitive fine motor tasks with small components; use of magnification.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs; may require ESD garments.
