Aventura at West Park is looking for an enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Cincinnati, Ohio!

What You'll Be Doing

No two days in rehab are exactly the same! As a COTA, you'll work with residents to help them regain skills, maintain independence, and accomplish the everyday activities that matter most to them.

You'll:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist

  • Help residents improve independence with ADLs and functional activities

  • Work on strength, balance, coordination, mobility, safety, and functional skills

  • Follow individualized plans of care and established therapy goals

  • Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health

  • Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

  • Educate and encourage residents throughout their rehabilitation journey

  • Help make therapy productive, positive, and engaging

  • Maintain compliance with applicable professional, facility, state, and federal standards

What We're Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Current Ohio COTA license or eligibility for Ohio licensure

  • New grads are encouraged to apply!

  • SNF/LTC experience is a plus, but not required

  • Net Health experience is a plus

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Positive attitude and a passion for helping others

  • Someone ready to jump in, learn, contribute, and be part of a great rehab team
