A growing charter school in Palmetto, Florida is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science/Agriculture Teacher to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to creating an engaging learning environment where students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging middle school science lessons aligned with Florida state standards.
  • Create a positive, structured, and student-centered classroom environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Incorporate hands-on experiments, STEM activities, and technology into daily instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Maintain classroom management that supports student achievement and positive behavior.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Florida Educator Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in the appropriate certification area.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for working with middle school students.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Experience teaching middle school science is preferred but not required.
