Dependable Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospice team in Nogales, Arizona on a part-time basis.
This is a meaningful opportunity for an LPN who is passionate about providing comfort-focused, patient-centered care to individuals and families during an important stage of life. You’ll work alongside a supportive interdisciplinary hospice team while helping patients remain comfortable and cared for wherever they call home.

Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients under the direction of the RN and established plan of care
Monitor patients for changes in condition, symptoms, and comfort needs
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within LPN scope of practice
Assist with pain and symptom management
Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager and hospice team
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
Promote patient comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life throughout hospice care
Current and active LPN license in the State of Arizona
Hospice, home health, skilled nursing, or direct patient care experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a home-based care environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to travel locally throughout the Nogales service area
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
This is a part-time position with scheduling based on patient needs and hospice census.
