Job Description:
An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems. This position performs preventive and predictive maintenance while supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC-related repairs. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with equipment installations, machine troubleshooting, mold changes, and process improvements to help keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment repairs, inspections, and work orders to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and production equipment issues.
  • Support machine installations, mold changes, equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory information, inspections, and work-order documentation in the ERP system.
  • Follow established safety procedures, including LOTO requirements, while identifying and reporting potential hazards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively communicating and collaborating with production, engineering, maintenance, and other teams.
  • Experience in rubber, plastics, paper mill, concrete, or food manufacturing is a plus; waterjet and thermo-molding experience is preferred.
  • Must be available to work assigned shift hours and frequent overtime.
  • Position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, ladder use, and working around moving mechanical equipment; occasional exposure to dust and fumes may occur.

The base pay range for this position is $30–$35 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
