Maintenance Assistant – The Brook at High Falls and Wedgewood Rehab

The Brook at High Falls and Wedgewood Rehab are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine building maintenance and repairs

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

• Help maintain facility grounds and equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

• Assist with painting, basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

• Support emergency and preventative maintenance needs

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience required; long-term care experience preferred

• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and reliability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in long-term care (LTC) strongly preferred.
