Industrial Maintenance Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a Local Company in the Corsicana, TX area.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 6PM

**Responsibilities: **

• Perform basic aggregate tests (gradations, moisture, specific gravity, etc.).
• Conduct concrete tests on fresh and hardened concrete (plastic tests, ASTM/ACI tests, strength tests).
• Assist with reviewing and verifying concrete mix designs for structural and architectural mixes.
• Complete Pre-Pour and Post-Pour inspections on precast/prestressed panels.
• Inspect and verify post-tensioning and pre-tensioning cables.
• Monitor quality during production and report any nonconformance issues.
• Maintain accurate testing records and documentation.
• Communicate quality issues to production and help with corrective actions.

• Experience in the concrete, aggregate, precast, prestressed, or ready-mix industry.
• Ability to perform basic aggregate tests (gradations, moisture, density, etc.).
• Ability to perform concrete field and lab tests, including plastic concrete tests, ACI/ASTM testing, and strength testing.
• Understanding of mix designs and how to read/verify them.
• Ability to conduct Pre-Pour and Post-Pour inspections.
• Familiarity with post-tensioning and pre-tensioning cables.
• Able to identify and document quality issues or nonconformances.
• Good communication and basic computer/documentation skills.
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and around production operations.
