About the OpportunityJuniper Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team.
In this role, you’ll help patients regain independence, improve their functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life. You’ll work alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team that values your expertise and is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs
Provide one-on-one occupational therapy services focused on functional, goal-driven outcomes
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Supervise therapy assistants, rehab technicians, and students as applicable
Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on therapeutic techniques, restorative programs, and home exercise programs
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Participate in care planning and support successful discharge planning
Maintain productivity and documentation standards while following Medicare and insurance requirements
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, staff education, and continuing education
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
Assist with equipment maintenance and other department needs as needed
Flexibility to assist at nearby facilities if needed; travel reimbursement provided
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure, in North Carolina
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Positive, patient-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
Ability to safely assist patients during therapy sessions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
Willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule and travel locally if needed
