Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will fuse metal components together to create high-quality products according to shop standards. Candidates must successfully complete an on-site weld test during the interview process.

Weld Test Requirements:
All applicants must take and pass a hands-on weld test at our facility prior to hiring.

- Equipment: Candidates must provide and bring their own welding hood.
- Material: MIG welding two pieces of 3/16" or 1/8" plate metal together.
- Position: Vertical / downhill weld.
- Inspection: Welds are subjected to a visual inspection only. Test results will be given on-site before you leave the facility.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform clean, high-quality MIG welds on plate steel and various metal components.
- Set up, adjust, and safely operate MIG welding machines and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
- Utilize basic measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify correct layout and alignment.
- Clamping, grinding, and prepping metal surfaces before and after the welding process.
- Inspect completed work visually to ensure it meets our quality and structural standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to all company safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a structural or production MIG Welder.
- Strong ability to weld cleanly in a vertical/downhill position.
- High proficiency in using standard measuring tools and reading fabrication layouts.
- Must own and bring your own personal welding hood/helmet.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required by production schedules.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and hold welding equipment steady for an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to work comfortably in a heavy fabrication shop environment
