Saw Operator

Aegis is currently partnering with a stable long-standing manufacturer in St. Charles to identify a Saw Operator to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Operate a plasma cutting machine to produce steel parts based on simple blueprints and preloaded programs.

• Manage the full process of each job, from loading material and running the machine to finishing

• Receive a list of jobs at the start of the shift and is expected to pick up where the previous shift left off, ensuring parts are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Hands-on finishing work, such as grinding, sanding, cleaning edges from plasma cutting, marking parts, and delivering finished components to welding or storage areas

Requirements:

• 1-4+ years of experience operating a CNC Machine

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint drawings

• Experience working with basic tools - tape measures, squares, or protractors.

• Ability to work within basic tolerances (approximately ±1/16 inch).
