2nd Class 6G TIG/FCAW Pipe Welder – Day Shift

Summary

Seeking an experienced 2nd Class Pipe Welder for day shift work in a fabrication/shop environment. Responsibilities include performing 6G TIG root and FCAW fill/cap welding on carbon steel and pipe systems while meeting quality and safety standards.

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of pipe welding experience
• Experience with 6G TIG root / FCAW fill & cap
• Ability to pass a 6G pipe weld test
• Ability to read isometric drawings and weld symbols
• Experience welding carbon steel pipe
• Strong safety record and reliable attendance

Preferred

• Shipyard, offshore, or industrial fabrication experience
• Stainless steel pipe welding experience
• Knowledge of ASME welding standards
• Current welding certifications
• Experience with fit-up and pipe fabrication
