MIG or TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder Pipefitter to join our dynamic team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Fabricate and install piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and other issues, making necessary repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Document work performed and report any discrepancies or challenges to management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and pipefitting practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid welding certification is a plus.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
