Our client seeks two IP Engineers to support the AMP team focused on augments, migrations, and provisioning. The role will execute complex network work packages, validate designs and materials, coordinate across teams, and perform deployments, migrations, and commissioning within maintenance windows. The position requires independent task management across multiple projects, accurate ticketing, and careful execution on live customer circuits.

Rate: $80000.00 to $100000.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Receive complex work packages and network designs via workflow tools, interpret requests, and execute assigned tasks.
- Verify design accuracy against the network and confirm required materials.
- Validate the physical network against designs to satisfy work requests.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete work requests.
- Create accurate impact statements and build change requests with detailed methods of procedure.
- Deploy and provision network optical elements and services.
- Execute complex migrations and equipment commissioning during maintenance windows.
- Maintain accurate ticket status and documentation.
- Execute work on live customer circuits while avoiding workman-caused outages.
- Network Engineer level 3 or equivalent.
- 3+ years of operation, administration, and maintenance of IP networks.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper MX240, MX480, MX960, Alcatel 7210, 7750, Cisco 7k/9k, Ciena 5171/8180, ADVA, and RAD.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols and IP transport systems.
- Provisioning and troubleshooting of the listed platforms and common service configurations.
- Ability to manage own work across 20+ concurrent projects.
- Experience with Jira or similar workflow/ticketing tools.
- Background in ISP environments.
- Experience handling both troubles and project-based work.
- Cisco or Juniper certifications desired.
- Python experience is a plus but not required.
