Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide facility care in Decatur. This position requires someone who is available to work permanent weekday morning shifts.

The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, respectful, and committed to providing quality care to patients in a facility setting. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and other assigned care needs while working collaboratively with facility staff and healthcare professionals.

This position is for candidates who can commit to a permanent weekday morning schedule.


Responsibilities


  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with mobility, walking, and prescribed exercises
  • Provide supportive patient care as assigned
  • Monitor food and fluid intake
  • Monitor and report vital signs and changes in condition
  • Communicate patient needs and concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with nurses, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful care environment
  • Follow all facility, health, and safety guidelines
  • Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients
Qualifications


  • Must be available for permanent weekday morning shifts
  • Must be able to commit to a consistent weekday schedule
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to safely lift and assist patients as required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
