Weekend: Every other Saturday and Sunday

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Radiology/Cardiology/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with trauma, pediatric, NICU, and portable X-ray patients and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Candidates staying in the local area must be available to work holidays and take call as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiographic procedures according to established protocols.
• Provide imaging services for patients across various age groups, including pediatric and NICU patients.
• Perform portable X-ray examinations as required.
• Provide imaging support for trauma and emergency patients.
• Ensure appropriate patient positioning and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow radiation safety and patient-care standards.
• Work effectively and independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Trauma experience required.
• NICU experience required.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Portable X-ray experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and call as required.

Call Requirements

Candidates staying in the area must participate in approximately 3 call shifts per month:

• 2 weekday call shifts: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 1 weekend call shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Schedule Requirements

• 4 × 10-hour shifts
• Regular shift: 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
• Every other Saturday and Sunday
• Must be available for holidays
• Must be available for call coverage if remaining in the local area.
