We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities
Evaluate residents referred for speech-language pathology services
Assess speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each resident's needs, abilities, and rehabilitation goals
Provide direct patient care to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function
Establish realistic and measurable treatment goals
Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Complete evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner
Educate residents, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and therapeutic techniques
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure the highest quality of care
Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations, including HIPAA and resident rights requirements

Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or geriatric care is preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
