Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill an Electronics Technician job in Newington, NH. This DIRECT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the telecommunications industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and calibrating electronic instrumentation and systems used throughout a manufacturing facility. In order to be successful in this position, you must have at least five years of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic equipment using scopes, meters, and other electronic test equipment. Preference will be given to someone with experience calibrating electronic instrumentation, working with sensors and process control equipment, and reading schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.

Electronic Technician Job responsibilities:

• Repair, install, and inspect electronic systems and devices as directed through verbal or written instructions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.

• Calibrate electronic instrumentation and sensing equipment used to monitor cable manufacturing processes.

• Install and repair camera, paging, speaker, and other electronic systems throughout the facility.

• Work with other trades, manufacturing personnel, engineers, and supervisory personnel to develop and implement changes to electronic components and modify the operation of process control equipment.

• Complete maintenance and calibration records on paper and in various computer systems, read and understand maintenance manuals, work instructions, schematics, and blueprints, and determine material or replacement needs for repairs.

• Safely operate hand and power tools and powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks, while following plant safety requirements including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, and NFPA 70E.

• Work as a team member within the Maintenance Department, respond to multiple assignments in a timely manner, and support production line setup verification and regular audits of production lines and associated systems.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electronic Technology or comparable training and work experience.

• At least five years of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic equipment using oscilloscopes, meters, and other electronic test equipment.

• Experience with electronic instrument calibration programs and the use of NIST standards for calibration.

• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, work instructions, schematics, and blueprints, along with the ability to solder and terminate common electrical connectors.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, respond to multiple assignments, work any shift as needed including weekends, and communicate effectively in English. Microsoft Office experience is strongly preferred, and candidates must be able to pass a written and hands-on job-related test.
