Welder

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an experienced Welder for a direct hire opportunity nearthe Sandusky, OH area.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of products and weldments

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, including weld symbols

• Fit and assemble products according to drawings and specifications

• Work alongside other welders on large and complex projects

• Perform TIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding as needed

• Inspect completed welds and ensure products meet quality standards

• Document quality results and maintain accurate records

• Design and build jigs and fixtures when needed

• Work closely with Engineering to troubleshoot issues and find solutions

• Help lead and coordinate team members on larger projects

• Mentor and support less experienced welders

• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of welding experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Welding certificate from a high school or trade school preferred

• Strong MIG welding experience

• Ability to pass a MIG weld test

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings preferred

• Ability to pass a pre-employment math and measurement test

• Ability to use personal tools for welding and fabrication tasks
