Precision Fabrication Operator — Tents, Awnings & Shade

Help build the products that shelter events, create shade, and protect pools. If you’re motivated by craftsmanship and consistency, this role puts you at the heart of our production line.

Hours: Monday – Thursday | 4:00 PM – 2:15 AM

Your Impact

From the first measurement to the final inspection, you’ll transform materials into finished goods that meet strict specifications. You’ll switch between machines, verify dimensions, document results, and keep the line moving safely and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities
  • Operate production machines per work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Run industrial sewing machines, radio frequency fabric welders, grommet machines, and related equipment.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare materials using tape measures, chalk lines, rulers, squares, scissors, marking pencils, and hand tools.
  • Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and setting adjustments.
  • Load materials manually or via automated feeds; monitor output quality continuously.
  • Accurately record production totals, defects, and errors.
  • Transport materials and finished goods with jack trucks, hand carts, and push carts.
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning industrial equipment and product specs.
Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, specs, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Strong attention to detail; quality and schedule driven.
  • Proficient in shop math (fractions, percentages, ratios, measurements).
  • Analytical, resourceful, and able to solve problems on the line.
  • Understands or can adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Dependable, punctual, and collaborative.
