IT Application Officer

Our client, a community bank in the South Shore, is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President, IT Applications Officer to oversee the selection, implementation, maintenance, and administration of critical technology applications. This role is ideal for a technology professional with banking and/or credit union expertise in application management, core processing systems, security, and vendor relationships who enjoys driving operational excellence and system reliability.

What You’ll do...

• Oversee core computer operations and technology application resources across the organization.

• Maintain inventory, availability, testing, and support of hosted and on premises software applications.

• Manage application upgrades, integrations, maintenance, and vendor support relationships.

• Ensure applications are appropriately patched, secured, and supported.

• Serve as the primary administrator for core application systems and other assigned business applications.

• Act as a key technology liaison with COCC and other third party service providers.

• Maintain expertise in COCC applications, workflows, forms, parameters, and new feature capabilities.

• Provide user access reviews and reporting for critical applications and security related systems.

What You’ll bring...

• Knowledge of information technologies related to core banking environments.

• Experience with application controls, parameters, security, and user access monitoring.

• Experience with COCC, Fiserv or related core banking solutions, business continuity processes, and banking applications preferred.

• Front line retail banking experience and/or IT experience is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or comparable experience in banking or information technology.

This is an officer level role reporting to the CIO. The salary range for this role is $87,000 - $109,000 based on skills and experience. They role is hybrid out of Marshfield, MA.
