Overview: 2nd Shift Welder: 3 PM – 12:30 AM

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal components with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Duties: 2nd Shift Welder: 3 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine welding requirements and procedures.
  • Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding to join metal components accurately.
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting pipes or structural elements using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Install piping systems for plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler fitting, or pipeline projects in accordance with ASME codes & standards and NFPA standards.
  • Use calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to measure dimensions precisely for pipe threading, tube bending, assembly, or maintenance tasks.
  • Rigging materials for lifting or positioning heavy components safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by following safety regulations related to power tool safety and always ensuring proper handling of materials.

Requirements: 2nd Shift Welder: 3 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding within construction or manufacturing settings.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to piping systems or structural frameworks.
  • Mechanical knowledge of pipe installation, soldering, pipe threading, tube bending, and sprinkler system installation.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols including NFPA standards for fire safety and OSHA regulations.
