- Vestibular and balance disorders
- Neurological conditions
- Orthopedic injuries and postoperative rehabilitation
- Concussion management
- Gait and fall prevention programs
- Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to achieve functional patient goals
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and payer requirements
- Communicate effectively with Physical Therapists, physicians, patients, and caregivers
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinical environment
- Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

- Help the PT in all aspects of patient care
- Under the guidance of the PT, perform therapy techniques/exercises
- Measure and track patient progress, informing PT of all changes
- Provide patients with needed continued care information
- Assist the Physical Therapist in patient handling, treatment, and management
- Carry out techniques and exercises prescribed by Physical Therapist
- Keep Physical Therapist up-to-date on changes in patient progress
- Help measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
- Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program (accredited)
- Up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license
